Video Poker : Wagering Tricks
Like to gamble on electronic poker games? Step into any betting house in Sin City and one item you will immediately witness is that the casinos spend a ton of layout space on game machines. Much of that floor space goes to electronic Poker. If you have gambled on Video Poker for any amount of time, you realize that not all video poker machines were created equal. As the years have gone by, even more "specialty" video poker machines have come into being. At present, I am going to share some of my electronic Poker tricks, I hope you'll like them.
Hint 1: Locating a great game
Finding a good machine is as simple as looking at the payment schedule. You really want to stay away from unique pay machines that have bigger top pay outs, but negate the smaller pay outs. e.g., a game could pay a little more on four of a kind, but might pay a lot less on two pair, flushes and full houses. Since you will rack up lower scale pay outs often, because of the chance of receiving these hands, you want a good smaller scale payout system.
Trick Two: Betting Tactic
Learning how to wager optimally is a must. Your betting procedure will, in the long run, determine your typical return and your final bank roll amount. Knowing what action to take in a situation where you have, e.g., 2 Kings, but four to the flush is vital. Do you keep the Kings and the assured cash or toss the dice for the harder to get flush? Playing a great game with a good technique will provide you a great opportunity to win cash over the long run.
Pointer 3: It is random
For years, I have observed folks play Video Poker in Las Vegas employing all kinds of superstitious actions. A few will only use cold tokens to bet, other will press the buttons super hard, some will tap the game with their money before wagering and the list goes on and on. Every hand is setup by a RNG. The instant you start to gamble, the hand is set in stone. The machine will randomly select all the cards from a deck and deal them out.
Hint 4: There's Absolutely no Recollection
This is a very important one. Most gamblers think that if they start to observe hands with 3 of a kind, 4 to the royal and so on that the bigger hands are due any moment. This is just incorrect. As clarified in pointer three, the process uses a random number generator to setup the hands. The machine has no recollection. It does not have knowledge that you have not had a full house in four hundred hands or that you just received 3, 4 of a kind hands in a row. It's possible to go 100k hands without a four of a kind and it is plausible to receive ten in sequence. The game doesn't keep track, because in the end, the numbers work out.
I hope these pointers have assisted you to develop as an electronic Poker player. False impressions on how the game works can be a lot more dangerous than just gambling incorrectly. I've watched folks spend (and lose) hundreds of dollars on a machine just because they thought the machine had a memory and was "due" to hit. Do not fall victim like this. Understand that Video Poker is random and has to be gambled on carefully. Now, go experience some fun.
